A historic bridge in Türkiye destroyed by flooding is being restored and added to the region’s cultural inventory.
The ruined Karasu Bridge in Aksaray, close to the centre of the country, dates back to 1863 and was built from cut stone and rubble on the site of an even older bridge. It is 13.5m long and 4.26m wide and has three arches.
